Stop your iPhone from auto-locking. Try the in-browser wake lock, or adjust your Auto-Lock setting with the steps below.
Ready. Choose a duration and press Start.
iPhone dims and locks the screen automatically to save battery. You can extend or disable this with Auto-Lock, or use a browser wake lock for a single task.
Note that Safari and other iOS browsers vary in wake lock support, so the system setting is the most reliable option on iPhone.
Go to Settings → Display & Brightness.
Choose a longer time, or Never to keep the screen on.
Or press Start above to hold a wake lock in your browser.
Auto-Lock and Auto-Brightness dim and lock the screen after inactivity.
Support varies by iOS and browser. If it is unreliable, set Auto-Lock to Never.
Leaving the screen on uses more battery, so revert Auto-Lock when done.
